thurstonoshaunnassy While this album is brilliant as relaxing background music, it also rewards active listening with nuance and detail in each track. Favorite track: Haven't You Ever Wondered Where That Road Goes?.

Ian Crawford I had such a deep relaxation response while listening to this lovely album. I felt like I was sinking comfortably into a carpet of moss and felt more at peace with each track. It's beautifully mysterious and deeply welcoming music with a perfectly unhurried pace that soothes my soul!

about

This album was a gift.

I thought it was a dream, but I don’t really know anymore. A parallel version of me from a slightly different timeline presented it to me. He said, “Here. This was the key to my joy, my inescapable bliss. Something happened in your world that has kept it from you. But you’re so close! And truly you have everything you need already but you’re not going to realize it on your own. So I have been allowed to help you. I can only reveal what’s essential, but you’ll know what to do. I believe in you.” Oh, and there was also something about fauns & satyrs... still trying to make sense of that.

The next morning, I absent-mindedly scribbled 8 titles on a scrap of paper & hummed some melodies into my voice memo app. It slowly dawned on me what was happening & I began my attempt to bring the work that was offered to me into this dimension.

I wish I could've asked, “How do you know me? How did you find me?” But after the process of figuring out the sounds, tonal language, textures, and images he played me… I think I understand. Something that was separated is recombining in me. And after finishing the last song & listening to the whole album, I feel connected to something more expansive than the shell of my body or the reach of my consciousness. I guess it worked!

I wonder when our times diverged? What cataclysmic event triggered it? Maybe it's not important, and maybe it was just a dream (isn't everything?). But I brought this album here. I carefully arranged every midi note like a code to unlock a portal, each song a piece of a journey thru darkness & light, confusion & wonder, chaos & calm... to bring the listener to a state of elation (hopefully! I reckon he never said they were universal codes...). Okay, I know I'm a weird little guy, but that's where it takes me & I wanted to share why I made this. I hope you'll enjoy listening for whatever intention you listen to music with. I'm monumentally excited to present this to you now.

Thank you for being here.
